Phantasmagorey, The Work of Edward Gorey, by Clifford Ross, Yale University 1974. This is a catalogue from an exhibition of Gorey's work-to-date held at Yale University and includes two critical essays as well as a variety of illustrations. What is most fascinating are the sketches for the cover of The Gashlycrumb Tinies and The Doubtful Guest.
